They are from a small town in Kentucky and moved to New York City for school, where they studied Russian literature. They canonically curse, drink alcohol, and eat meat, but there is still some room for interpretation. Look close and see if you can figure out which stories are from my actual life! While the MC was born in the United States, details about their maternal grandparents and when/if they immigrated to the US will remain vague and allow for MCs of all races and ethnicities. The game will always portray the MC's maternal family in a secular way, though some characters will use typically Southern phrases and colloquialisms like "Lord have mercy." The MC's paternal family, on the other hand, is, at the very least, well integrated into American culture. They are church-going Southern Baptists who live in Eastern Kentucky. The game will never assume that the MC shares their grandparents' faith; neither will the MC express negative opinions about it. Where is Eprea/Talverton? *line_break Eprea is an island of 600,000 people about the size of Corsica off the coasts of France, Spain, Italy, Algeria, and Tunisia. The population is majority English and French speaking with minority Spanish, Italian, and Arabic speaking populations. Talverton, located in the mountains, is about 30 miles away from the capital city, Farleigh. Who are the ROs? *line_break There are four ROs: Albert/Alberta (Bertie) Carroll, Antonio/Antonia (Tony) Ruiz, Gabriel/Gabrielle Duchamp, and Rashid/Rashida (Rash) Khalef. All ROs are gender choice and available to all MCs. Two other characters, Alexander/Alexandra (Alex) McNally and Evgenii/Evgenia (Zhenya) Khitrov/Khitrova, are also gender choice. How does the romance system work? *line_break There are three flirt styles: bold, hostile, and shy. Bold and shy options are available for all four ROs, while hostile options are only available for certain ROs. Consistently choosing one flirt style will result in a more coherent play through since certain text is dependent on the choices you've made.
