The world you knew and loved is gone... replaced by constant warfare and corruption. The land of Tanalanat has fractured into hundreds of smaller kingdoms, each ruled by tyrants. The dreaded Nightbrother's influence extends across the land; will you be able to rise up and restore Tanalanat to its prior glory? Go forth, Champion, and unite The Realm of Steel!

There are two difficulty levels: realistic and easy.

Realistic mode will give you the full [b]THE REALM OF STEEL[/b] gameplay as it was designed. The game will be difficult, but it will not be impossible. There will be puzzles for you to solve, stat checks, and, of course, perma-death. This mode is highly recommended, as the added sense of danger will more fully immerse you into the game.

Easy mode makes [b]THE REALM OF STEEL[/b] significantly easier. It is harder to die, your stats will increase faster, and puzzles will be multiple choice (however you can still fail them). If you "fail" a choice, you will still complete your goal but will gain no stat benefit. If you are more interested in the narrative and less in the immersion, pick this option.

		Ah, a wise choice. This game will have violence, and there is one scene of body horror (although it is quite difficult to actually reach this scene). There is no nsfw content and no foul language.

		I suppose it is worth mentioning that this game more than likely will not leave you feeling happy. Bad endings are plentiful.... good endings are scarce. A single choice can have major ramifications for The Realm of Steel. Do you wish to carry that burden?
