	She sits down, cross-legged, in front of you and looks up at you expectantly.

	Finnur kneels and places his hand on your knee. His touch is softer than you would have ever expected.

	"May I ask what pains you so?"

		"Having a good cry, eh?" Ghinty asks. She sits on the log beside you. "I like a good cry, myself! I like it very much with brandy." She smiles. "That's the drink, not the girl. Though I do know a Brandy, and I wouldn't mind a good cry with [i]her[/i] either."

		"Having a good cry, eh?" Ghinty asks. She sits on the log beside you. "I like a good cry, myself! I like it very much with brandy." She smiles. "That's brandy the drink, not ${name} the you. Though I wouldn't mind a good cry with ${name} the [i]you[/i] either."

	"Ach," says Wyverna, huffing. "Zis is not how I wanted zis night to start." She shakes her head and laughs. "I was hoping to have you in tears for an entirely different reason."

	Wyverna sits besides you and smiles. You haven't seen her look so kindly before.

	"Tell me now why you are crying, ${name}. Or zar will be torture."

	"Well, dammit," Tekoa says, plopping down to sit in front of you. "You went and got the party started without me, did ya? Rude, ${name}. Very rude."

	She reaches forward and places her hand on your knee.

	"The only way to make up for it is to tell me [i]everything[/i]."

	"I know I cannot protect you from everything," Kerwain says. He kneels down in front of you. "But let me try. Please."

	He takes a handkerchief from his pocket and places it in your hand, whereupon it completely dissolves into ash that is immediately carried away by the soft night breeze.

	"Oh. Ahh..." His face reddens. "My apologies, I had forgotten."

*IF (romancing="Art")
	"What's this about, ${ladlass}?" Art asks. "Tell me who's done you wrong. I'll have 'em roasted before sunrise."

	"I didn't mean to interrupt," Oferi says.

	She's completely naked. The sight of her unadorned beauty makes a breath catch in your throat.

	But she seems so uncomfortable and shy without her imposing armor.

	"Uh, I feel a little silly now," she says, crossing her arms over herself. "I just didn't want my armor, you know, to... disappear or... well... it's kind of expensive... and if we... ugh! Please say something... you're not crying because... I didn't... do that... right?"
