"Good. Wash your hands and then you can have supper." You head outside to the rain barrel. After washing your hands, you wander back in to see what's for supper. It turns out to be beef stew, with carrots and onions, fresh from the day's harvest. You help yourself to a steaming bowlful and sit down to eat with your parents. "Carrots are doing well this year." your mom says. "Cattle prices too.. it's almost a shame to be eating it." adds your dad. You listen to them banter while you finish your supper, and then clear your plate and prepare for bed.
